To celebrate Earth Day 2020, Reform Radio has connected 24 countries represented by international artists, for a one-off 24 hour broadcast. Starting at midnight on Wednesday 22nd of April, the line up of 24 handpicked international artists aired hour long shows, each representing their corner of the global underground music scene, with Imaginary Part representing his native country, Italy.

Imaginary Part’s special broadcast consisted of a 1h modular synth improvisation. His performance didn’t rely on a pre-prepared live set as per his usual approach, but instead the aim was focused on embracing the art of improvisation, experimenting with the trial and error process that lies in between a creative idea and the recording session, emphasising the contrast between musical sounds and noise, between rhythmic patterns and chaotic repetitions, finding the beauty purely in the design process of organic sounds and textures.

Earth Day 2020 features 11 original self-produced excerpts from Imaginary Part’s performance.
